SECTION 4: First aid measures · 4.1 Description of first aid measures · General information Symptoms of poisoning may even occur after several hours; therefore medical observation for at least 48 hours after the accident. Personal protection for the First Aider. It is possible to choke in case of vomiting in unconsciousness. Bring unconscious persons into a stable position on side. Keep the respiratory tract free (remove dentures and vomiting). Check the pulse. In case of heart failure you have to make a cardiac massage. In case of stoppage of breathing: artificial respiration.
