Concentrated, plasticizing screed admixture
Fields of Application: REMIPLAST-P80 is particularly suited for high-quality, floating and composite floor screed – cementitious or anhydride based. The product is recommendable for use with heated screed and for use with conveyor equipment. REMIPLAST-P80 favours the production of screeds with good workability and low water-cement-ratios. Properties and Benefits: Screeds, modified with REMIPLAST-P80, are characterized by the following properties: • plastic workability consistence • reduced water demand of up to10 % • increased compressive and bending tensile strength • reduced bleeding on the screed surface. Instructions for Use: BETOFIX P10 is best added to the ready mix as the last component. The dosage together with the gauging water is also possible when cleared in practical tests. Mixing times depend on the type of mixer and have to be adjusted, if necessary. Sufficient final mixing times have to be secured in each case. Special Advice: • Suitability tests accord. to valid standards and norms should be carried out prior to usage. • Excessive gauging water quantities must be avoided. • Only suitable aggregates must be used at a sufficient content of binding agent. Safety Advice: Please adhere to the European Safety Data Sheet (MSDS)!
Recommended Dosage Range: 0.2 to 0.7 % on CEM The final dosage quantity depends, among others, on the reactivity of the cement and the mortar recipe. This must be determined in suitable trials. A higher dosage quantity may be necessary for cements which tend to bleed. Overdosages may result in a sticky appearance of the fresh screed and require corresponding adjustment.
