SCHOMBURG GmbH & Co. KG - Automated Economic Operator (AEO C)

As from 10th August 2009 the SCHOMBURG GmbH & Co. KG is now an Automated Economic Operator with "AEO C" status.

An Automated Economic Operator has a special status:

An AEO is classified as being very reliable and trustworthy and can utilize special benefits or simplifications for customs clearances.

For reliable and trustworthy traders there are effective simplifications in customs processes and/or simplifications in safety and security relevant customs controls.

Due to the ever growing Globalisation changes and the ever changing International Safety and Security situation, the World Customs Organisation have created a "Framework of Standards to Secure and Facilitate Global Trade“ (SAFE) for a more modern and effective risk management within customs administration. Target is to secure a global supply chain between the Manufacturer,the goods being exported and up to the end user.
